I actually managed to complete this. I get that a game shouldn't be too easy but a lot of parts in the game felt unfair. This kind of difficulty is more fitting for a game that creates a checkpoint every room, but this game used checkpoints very sparingly. The character is floaty in the air but that is a design choice, not a flaw. However, after getting the glider upgrade a little extra control in the air would be nice.
A big flaw was the wall jumping. The vertical boost when wall jumping should be way higher and the fact that you had to keep using the directional buttons towards the wall when jumping felt a bit annoying.
The final boss was nice but I don't get why I had to do the first part 2 times, that was just weird.
The general theme of the game was great. When in the last part of the game the background and skulls really made it feel like a gameboy game. The music was also fitting.

It reminded me a lot of duke dashington (which is good). The difficulty became insane, but I still managed to beat it with 174 deaths. I'm not even gonna try the achievements, that's borderline impossible.

1h24 and 494 deads...
I really thought i would quit at some points (especially on the way back with the blades in the vertical shaft).
The sticking to walls is a bit of a problem. There is no way to detach from the wall unless you jump, meaning you often either have to fall to certain doom or have to jump into a blade. Make it so you stick to walls only if you hold the arrow towards the wall.
The wall spikes are really cheap. At least put them in the foreground so i can actually see them properly when I'm focusing.
The music was good and I liked the idea of having to climb a tower.
The ending was a bit anticlimactic but I guess that was what you were going for.
Overall it's a good game but some parts felt really unfair, mainly because of the way the character accelerates (hold the arrow a bit and you barely move, hold it to long and you fly over the screen) and because of the sticking to walls thing.
7/10 4/5

It was good but the second one was better in my opinion.
The animation got a lot better over the series. The music is still good as always. The controls were okay.
This game was a bit short and felt too linear. At least in the second game there were parts where you had to go back or search for the right way.
I also found a glitch where you couldn't die when shot by the guy at the airport. He also shoots you completely off guard which felt a bit cheap, good thing I couldn't die.
Overall it's a good game but it could use more content.

This needs a lot of refining.
There isn't much to see yet and I already found some bugs.
The bitcoins you spend in the bitshop get taken from your normal money. For example if you have 5 bitcoins you can buy something worth 5 bitcoins and you will only lose 5 dollars.
The counter for the bitcoins is too precise and sometimes displays a lot of 9's after the comma. Either round the number to 2 digits after the comma or use another type of number to count the bitcoins. This also applies to some other numbers so make sure this problem is fixed for all numbers.
The music doesn't loop unless you mute/unmute.
This next one may be harder to fix but right now it is possible to press tab until you are over the circle and simply hold space.

I know this isn't finished yet but a green circle isn't really appealing to click. The background is allright. If people are going to spend a lot of time on this game the music should really loop. If I couldn't use the tab space trick I probably wouldn't even bother playing since everything in the shop seems really expensive.
This type of game has been done a lot and if you want people to like your game you should add your own touch in this. The hacker style is good but you need something unique so people have a reason to play your game instead of cookie clicker.
Have some features that are unique for this type of game and fix the bugs.

I created the continuation of this game with less bugs and everything that you said here in the comments link: http://gamejolt.com/games/hackerlife/216748

Great!
Now this is a game I come back to.

There is no point to this... It's more of a joke than a game
At least the music is nice.

It's definitely a unique concept.
One thing you should add is some music, maybe even different music for different levelsets (1-20 music 1, 21-40 music 2 etc...). Since this demo only shows 20 levels I don't know if extra features will be added in the game or not, but if I'm playing 100+ levels there should be more features as you progress in the game.
Getting those points for good times is great but I don't think it should be required to move onto the next set of levels. Maybe make it a requirement for some harder extra levels and just let people unlock the next level by completing the previous one.
What I really liked about this game is that it's easy to control and hard to master.
All in all it's a great game, and I would rate it 4,5 stars if it had some tunes.
